The same hands that draw the dive plates also carve foam into stone, mount skulls, rebuild golf carts and wire fireworks. Twelve builds from the garage, 2010 to now, each shown in the order it happened.
A worn-out EZGO, bought in April. By June: lithium power, a lift, the hull painted with gun ports, a hand-drawn treasure map on the hood, a ship's wheel, candle lanterns on the roof posts and a Blackbeard flag.
Reef tanks and the stone stand
2013 → today · 17 photos
Reef-keeping since 2013. The current nano reef sits on a stand carved from foam board, stone by stone, sealed and painted to read as a dry-stacked wall, and it is fed from a two-barrel saltwater mix reservoir plumbed under the carport.
Skull and horn mounts

Twenty-five European-style mounts on hand-cut, stained plaques with leather pads. Every pad is laser-engraved with Eric's signature and every mount is named with a copper tag he stamped by hand, letter by letter.
The tags, as stamped:

On the same wall: a hat rack made from a longhorn skull with two hand-woven 7 ft bullwhips and a wolf paw; a two-necklace voodoo set of boar tusks, mink femur bones, coyote toe, buffalo teeth bleached and unbleached, coyote teeth, wooden beads and custom skull beads; and a rose crystal knife with a reindeer antler handle. The knife is another maker's; the mounting and embellishments are Eric's.
